I’ve been a photographer for a little over 5 years now - beginning when I received my first DSLR camera for Christmas in 2013. I truly believe that images are powerful storytellers and I also just think photography is a fun activity that allows me to connect with others and capture what I see. I will always prefer photos in print, which is why I stay away from building a social media empire (I would be terrible at this anyway hah!).
In addition to building my photography portfolio and improving my skills, I am also an active community member. I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Public and Nonprofit Administration from Grand Valley State University in 2017. Throughout my professional career, I have found that my photo abilities have been useful in helping organizations spread awareness for their missions. I am passionate about causes serving kids & families and also the arts! You can find me on LinkedIn here.
When I’m not being professional, I spend my time reading, eating out at the new restaurants popping up all over Grand Rapids, traveling with my family and friends, and playing guitar.
